Story centers on ad executives in their early thirties who are sent back to high school to learn how to be cool again. Screenplay was written by Derek Guiley and David Schneiderman, with a recent draft penned by Mark Perez.
Michael Aguilar ("What Happens in Vegas") is attached to produce.
"I'm Fucking Matt Damon," which starred Damon and Sarah Silverman, was a mock valentine delivered to Silverman's boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel. The first short, which was shot in one day, aired on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Jan. 31 and became an Internet phenomenon. Kimmel fired back with an "I'm Fucking Ben Affleck" video ode, which was helmed by McClammy and starred Affleck and Kimmel. That short was broadcast on the latenight show on Feb. 24 and also went on to generate tens of millions of viewings online.
In addition to his writing and directing duties on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," McClammy is a director on the "The Sarah Silverman Program" on Comedy Central.
"Cool School" is currently undergoing a polish and will then go to cast.
