Sex returned to the city Tuesday as

Kristin Davis,

Cynthia Nixon strapped on their stilettos for the "Sex and the City" premiere.

Michael Patrick King.
A sudden downpour just as guests were arriving at Radio City Music Hall failed to dampen spirits as thousands of female fans flocked to catch a glimpse of their favorite foursome. Luckily, the rain stopped as suddenly as it started, which King attributed to his mother.
"My Irish Catholic mother sat at the window of her hotel and prayed to God all day saying, 'Dear Jesus, please don't let it rain on my son's big sex party.'"
Before the screening, King also showered some love on New Line, saying, "They are a venerable, rebellious and artistic group."
As for the chance of more sex with a second pic, producer
Darren Star would only say "anything's possible."
