NBC Universal adds key territory

Russia to offer local versions of Universal, Sci Fi

NBC Universal is adding another key territory to its international channel rollout program with localized versions of the Universal Channel and Sci Fi bowing in Russia today and Friday, respectively, on the NTV Plus digital platform.

The Russian nets will be managed by Colin McLeod, managing director (Central & Eastern Europe), NBC Universal Global Networks.

Channels will bow in Asia in July.
