The daughter of the late Joan Archerd, an opera singer, and Army Archerd, she graduated the U. of California at Berkeley and taught elementary school before starting a career in real estate in Annapolis, Md.
An avid athlete, she competed in 18 marathons and also sang with the Annapolis Chorale.
She is survived by her partner Dennis Williams; two sons; a daughter, her father; stepmother Selma Archerd and a brother, Evan.
