Life's NonStop for Cannes winner

Film company buys rights to 'Class'

NonStop Entertainment has bought the rights for Cannes Palme d'Or winner "The Class" by Laurent Cantet for Scandinavia, Iceland and the Baltic states.

NonStop also bought Grand Prix winner "Gomorra," helmed by Matteo Garrone, for Scandinavia and Iceland.

Other NonStop pick ups in Cannes this year include the rights in Scandi and Iceland for "Johnny Mad Dog" by Jean-Stephane Sauvaire, Olivier Assayas' "Summer Hours" and Rebecca Miller's "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee"; the Scandi, Iceland and Baltic rights for Korea's "The Chaser," helmed by Na Hong-jin; and the Scandi rights for Mark Tonderai's thriller "Hush."
