Tiberius bathes in Cannes' 'Blood'

Film unit grabs rights to slew of features

By ED MEZA

Tiberius Film has acquired German rights to a slew of films from the Cannes film mart, including John Harrison's Clive Barker adaptation "Book of Blood" and Gilles Paquet-Brenner's horror thriller "Walled In," starring Mischa Barton.

The Munich-based distrib also nabbed Frederic Berthe's French teen laffer "Nos 18 ans" ("School's Out") and Horatiu Malaele's Romanian comedy "Silent Wedding," about a couple who try to celebrate their wedding despite an official ban on festivities due to the death of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin.
