Also Thursday, NBC announced that Sam Neill, Sean Bean and Joss Ackland have joined the Peacock's fall drama "Crusoe."
On "Warehouse 13," Pounder will play Mrs. Fredric, the director of a secret government organization. Thesp joins a cast that also includes Eddie McClintock, Saul Rubinek and Joanne Kelly.
Pounder most recently starred in "The Tower," a CBS drama pilot about crime-solving journalists. Thesp has also played Det. Claudette Wyms throughout the run of FX's "The Shield."
"Warehouse 13" follows a pair of FBI agents who must investigate artifacts in a mysterious South Dakota facility; Pounder's character is charged with securing those threatening objects. NBC Universal Cable Studio is behind the project.
As for "Crusoe," Neill ("The Tudors") plays Jeremiah Blackthorn, the family friend who helps Robinson Crusoe (Philip Winchester) build a business empire. Bean ("Lord of the Rings") is aboard as James, Crusoe's widower father. Cast also includes Anna Walton.
"Crusoe," which comes from the U.K.'s Power shingle, will be shot in the U.K., South Africa and the Seychelles.
