Rosen will coordinate coverage of the upcoming national conventions and act as a liaison with elected officials and congressional leaders.
Arianna Huffington said in a statement that Rosen will take "HuffPost's political coverage to the next level." The website has been covering the campaign with a combination of professional writers and citizen journalists and bloggers.
Rosen served for 17 years at the RIAA before retiring in 2003. She has been an adviser to Democratic candidates and a lobbyist on behalf of LGBT and AIDS issues. She's also a partner in Berman Rosen Global Strategies, a consulting firm specializing in intellectual property policy.
