Beginning to flesh out its 2008-09 schedule, MyNet also announced renewals of its pair of Tuesday-night reality series from Langley Prods., "Jail" and "Street Patrol."
"Biggest Secrets," from Nash Entertainment, scored solid Nielsen numbers when the Fox network ran it as a series of five primetime specials in the late 1990s. Reruns of these specials have played previously on MyNet and on the Fox Reality Channel.
"Secrets" will kick off in the fall on Monday nights and "Funniest Moments," from Associated TV, is slated for Wednesday. As previously announced, MyNet has picked up the rights to the two-hour "WWE SmackDown" for Friday, scheduling it after The CW, which currently runs "SmackDown," failed to renew the series.
MyNet will schedule theatrical movies on Thursday and Saturday, licensing such titles as "Men in Black II," "Batman Returns," "Lethal Weapon," "National Lampoon's Vacation" and "Edward Scissorhands."
