Keith Nelson named top clown

Golden Nose Awards hands out honors

In the annual springtime proliferation of legit awards, even clowns get their kudos: Keith Nelson was named clown of the year at the 2nd Annual Downtown Clown Golden Nose Awards.

Achievement of the Year went to the Brick Theater, the Brooklyn venue which produces the NY Clown Theater Fest.

Audience choice awards went to clown Chris Allison, the act “At the Opera” by Those in the Nose and the film “Retard Midget Get Out of My Life” by Happy Hour. Event was held Monday night at the Kraine Theater in downtown Gotham.
