Pyramide Productions has sold rights to competition film "Three Monkeys" to Canadian, European and Asian arthouse buyers.

Pic's rights have been picked up by Canada's Mongrel, Italy's Bim, U.K.'s New Wave, Greece's Rosebu, Colombia's Cine Colombia, Norway's Fidalgo, Sweden's Maywin Media, Belgium's Imagine Film Distribution and former Yugoslavia's Megacom.

Suraya Filem will distribute the film in Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia, while Pyramide will handle Gaul distrib.

Helmed by Turkish filmmaker Nuri Bilge Ceylan, pic depicts a psychological drama about a dysfunctional family devastated by convenient lies, which allow its members to turn a blind eye on hardship and responsibilities.

Ceylan won the jury's prize in 2003 for "Uzak."
