Beastie Boy Adam Yauch has announced the first pickup for his Oscilloscope Pictures.

O-scope will release Irena Salina’s “Flow: For Love of Water” in late summer, followed by a winter DVD release. Docu first preemed at Sundance and follows the growing privatization of global water resources.

“I was overwhelmed by the enormity of this crisis,” Yauch said. “The film stayed with me, and I still keep thinking back on it. It contains information that people need to know.”

Submarine’s Josh Braun and “Flow” producer Steven Starr finalized the deal with Oscilloscope’s David Fenkel. Fenkel created the company with Yauch after a stint as VP of marketing for ThinkFilm. O-scope will release Yauch’s high school basketball doc “Gunnin’ for That #1 Spot.”

Celluloid Dreams is selling “Flow” in Cannes.
