Steve McQueen's 'Hunger' sells

Film heads to U.K., France, New Zealand

Brit helmer Steve McQueen's "The Hunger" has sold to several major territories with Pathe acquiring all rights for the U.K. and Ireland. MK2 has acquired the film for France, with Paradiso in Benelux, Lusomondo in Portugal, Video Seven in Greece and Icon in Australia and New Zealand also inking deals for the well-received drama. Icon Entertainment Intl. is handling international sales at Cannes. A U.S. deal is believed to be imminent.
