Velvet Octopus has sold rights to Germany’s Telepool, Benelux’s BFD, Korea’s Ssamzie Entertainment, former Yugoslavia’s Xpand Digital, ECS in the Middle East, Portugal’s Lusomundo, Turkey’s Chantier, Indonesia’s Queen, and Blue Sky in Eastern Europe excluding Russia.
Pic, budgeted just under $10 million, is helmed by Dutch director Miriam Kruishoop (“Unter den Palmen”) and written by Kruishoop and Christopher Granier-Deferre and produced by Sanfu Maltha (“Blackbook”) and Molly Hassell (“Edmond”).
Shooting is slated to start in August in the Netherlands.
