Rachael Leigh Cook boards 'Disposables'

Ryan Gosling to exec produce drama

Rachael Leigh Cook and Seymour Cassel have boarded "The Disposables."

Ryan Gosling is exec producing with Daniel Gilies writing, directing, producing and starring in the project, an interweaving story about a 12-year-old prostitute and an eccentric American writer that spans from the slums of Bogota in Columbia to Los Angeles.

Instinctive Film's Darryn Welch and Holy Monster's John Lyons Murphy also producing.

Production is expected to start in summer 2008 in Bogota, Colombia, before moving to Los Angeles.

K5 Intl. is handling worldwide sales at Cannes.
