Paradigm chair Sam Gores said Ruf has been instrumental in building the motion picture packaging and sales unit, which was formed two years ago and has several projects at Cannes this year, including "The Alchemist," "City Island," "The Last Full Measure" and "Jolene."
A 10-year veteran of Paradigm, Ruff segued to the indie financing arm from the talent department.
Ruff said O'Hair's arrival would help the unit continue its steady growth. O'Hair comes from his shingle Armagh Films Label. He's worked on recent productions including Inferno's "The Women" and "Hakkiko: A Dog's Story." He was a producer on IFC release "How to Rob a Bank."
At U, O'Hair oversaw productions including "Bring It On," "Bridget Jones's Diary" and "8 Mile."
