Tanous promoted at Warner Music

Executive to lead media relations, communications

Will Tanous has been promoted to executive vice president and chief communications officer for Warner Music Group.

Tanous will continue to lead media relations, internal and external communications, events and philanthropy activities, responsibilities he has had since Edgar Bronfman Jr. and his team acquired the company.

A co-creator of HBO's series "Reverb," he has been with Warner Music since 1993.
