Icon acquired “Hunger,” a pic about the 1981 IRA hunger strike in the Maze Prison, under the deal that saw Icon acquire Australian media group Becker Entertainment, which includes the sales operation Becker International.
In addition to “Hunger,” Icon will also be representing worldwide rights for other Becker projects, including Adam Elliot’s animated feature “Mary & Max” (which features the voice-talent of Toni Collette and Eric Bana) as well as Dan Castle's “Newcastle.”
