Borno will lead the Arclight sales team at Cannes, where the company's "Surveillance" will be screened Out of Competition.
Conquistador was founded by Borno in 1994 and handled international sales for Werner Herzog's "Rescue Dawn," "Nine Lives" and "One Last Dance." Previously, he held sales slots at Dino De Laurentiis, ITC Entertainment Group, Kushner-Locke and Carey Woods' Independent Pictures.
Arclight has represented more than 100 pics and includes genre division Darclight Films and Asian cinema label Easternlight Films. The company has offices in Los Angeles, Sydney, Melbourne, Toronto and Hong Kong.
