Columbia loves David Caspe's 'Hate'

Happy Madison to produce father-son comedy

Columbia Pictures has acquired David Caspe's comic pitch "I Hate You, Dad" for Happy Madison to produce.

Comedy is about a father who moves in on the eve of his son's wedding and promptly begins feuding with the bride-to-be.

Caspe is also scripting "Sensei" for Summit Entertainment.

Col releases Adam Sandler starrer "You Don't Mess With the Zohan" on June 6. Happy Madison also produced the Fred Wolf-directed "The House Bunny," starring Anna Faris, which the studio opens Aug. 22. Banner Madison is in production on the Steve Carr-directed "Paul Blart: Mall Cop," starring Kevin James, for Columbia.
