Mancini was a creative exec and partner in production and management company Silver Street Pictures, along with Martin Landau and producer Richard Abramson, where he helped negotiate a distribution deal with MGM/UA. Prior to Silver Street, he served as Sr. VP of motion picture and TV production at Barry Krost and Doug Chapin's Krost/Chapin Management, where he worked on "What's Love Got To Do With It."
Previously, he was VP of creative affairs at Orr and Cruickshank Productions, where he worked on "Father of the Bride," "Mr. Destiny" and "Sister Act II." He also worked as a creative exec at Columbia Pictures Television, on shows including "Who's the Boss?" and "Married With Children."
A native of Rhode Island and a graduate of Bryant U., he began his career at Lorimar Television as a production accountant.
In 1999, he moved to Europe and started consulting and real estate investment companies Beecon Consulting and Beecon Consulting Real Estate Investments, both based in Rome.
He is survived by his parents, a brother and two sisters.
