Imagi adds Yim to top tier

Exec named director of marketing

HONG KONG -- Imagi, the Los Angeles- and Hong Kong-based animation group behind "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," has appointed Cora Yim director of marketing and strategic planning with immediate effect.

Based in Hong Kong, Yim reports to Imagi co-CEO Doug Glen and will be responsible for marketing in Asia. She was previously senior manager of acquisitions and marketing at Hong Kong major Media Asia.

Hong Kong stock-market listed Imagi is in production on two $40 million movies -- "Gatchaman" and "Astroboy" -- both adaptations of superhero comics licensed from other publishers. Warner Bros Pictures and The Weinstein Co. will handle worldwide distribution of the two movies.
