Welteke ran Fox's international production arm for more than four years, spearheading local-market co-production deals for such Fox hits as "Joe Millionaire," "The Simple Life," "Temptation Island" and "My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance." Before that, she worked as a programming executive for Fox's Twentieth Television Prods., beginning in 1995.
Before joining Fox, Welteke spent nine years with Kirch Media's Beta Film.
Survivors include her husband, Peter Howden, her father and a sister.
