Rogers CEO Ted Rogers attributed the rise to "tremendous growth in wireless and cable."
Speaking Tuesday, Rogers also said that his Toronto-based company will bring Apple's iPhone to Canada this year but did not reveal a date or charges.
During the quarter ended March 31, Rogers' Internet subscriber base increased by 41,000 to 1.5 million, and the number of digital cable households increased by 49,000 to 1.4 million.
The company's cable operations reported revenue of $695, up 12% on last year.
Rogers Media -- which includes its TV stations, radio stations and magazines -- posted revenue of $307 million, up 15% on a year earlier.
