Williams formerly served as acquisitions and distribution executive at Red Envelope Entertainment. In addition to working with several other independent companies, he has also worked in distribution and marketing at DreamWorks.
The new veep's first stop is the Tribeca Film Festival, where he will work to increase Liberation's domestic film and television acquisitions.
