ProSiebenSat.1 sets new CFO

Axel Salzmann takes over for Lothar Lanz

Axel Salzmann will take over as chief financial officer for Germany's ProSiebenSat.1 Media broadcast group on June 11, replacing Lothar Lanz who opted not to renew his contract.

Group CEO Guillaume de Posch thanked Lanz for his 12 years of service at ProSiebenSat.1 adding that Salzmann "brings a wealth of experience in international companies and in the communications sector."

Salzmann held various jobs with the Philips Group from 1987 to 2001. From 2002 to 2007 he was CFO and vice-CEO at telcom O2 Germany.
