Roundabout Theater to flow 'Streamers'

Off Broadway venue stages Ellis production

Scott Ellis' production of David Rabe's "Streamers" will have a stint Off Broadway this fall at the Roundabout.

Ellis ("Curtains") last staged Rabe's 1976 play, about four Vietnam-era soldiers in boot camp, at Boston's Huntington Theater in fall 2007. Several thesps from the Huntington production -- including Hale Appleman, Ato Essandoh, Brad Fleischer and Charlie Hewson -- will reprise their roles.

"Streamers" begins previews Oct. 17 for a Nov. 11 opening at the Roudabout's Laura Pels Theater.
