Newspaper's first edition hit the presses on April 17, with an editorial team of 200 journos around the world. Abu Dhabi execs are hoping the paper will become the region's premier source of news, focusing on the Middle East and international developments.
"It was born out of a vision that recognizes the key role that a free, professional and enlightened press plays in the national development process," said Abu Dhabi Media Co. chairman Mohamed Khalaf al-Mazrouei.
