Trio unites for 'Legion' films

Stan Lee's POW! teams up for superhero series

Vancouver-based CG toonmaker Rainmaker Entertainment is partnering with Stan Lee's POW! Entertainment Inc., and Brighton Partners to launch Lee's latest superhero creation, "Legion of 5," as a series of animated features.

Pics will be supported by print and electronic comics, games, merchandising, and online and mobile releases.

Details of "Legion of 5" are being kept undwer wraps. "Spider-Man" creator Lee will get the inaugural "New York Comics Legend Award" at New York Comic Con this weekend but no further announcement is expected on "Legion of 5."
