"We are very proud that we have become recognized as a pre-Oscar showcase, as well as a source for providing great networking opportunities for filmmakers looking for a break," said exec director Carlos de Abreu.
The festival will unspool more than 100 films and has announced an April 30 submission deadline for features, docs, shorts and musicvideos.
