Williams appointed NBC U Asia VP

Exec will relocate to Singapore

HONG KONG - Christopher Williams has been appointed VP, commercial & network development Asia Pacific, Global Networks, by NBC Universal.

Previously based in Hong Kong for Walt Disney, where he held business development and digital media positions, Williams relocates to Singapore for the newly created role.

He will work with Asia Pacific Global Networks head Raymund Miranda and reports to Greg Matson, senior VP, commercial & network development for Global Networks in the U.K.

NBC Universal recently launched Sci Fi Channel in Japan and took its KidsCo joint venture into five markets. Earlier this year, NBCU also announced the acquisition of a share in NDTV Networks in India, its first entertainment presence in that market.
