Hairdresser and makeup artist Jaren Millard died April 5 in Palm Springs, Calif. after drowning in a hot tub. He was in his 60s.

Millard was hairdresser for Zsa Zsa Gabor, who sued him for $2 million when she was injured in a crash while he was driving in 2002.

Millard had also worked with thesps including Jodie Foster, Rosie O'Donnell, Beverly D'Angelo and Nell Carter. He created looks for photo shoots for Hollywood photographers such as George Hurrell and William Gray Harris. Among his TV and film credits were "Nell" and "Things You Can Tell Just By Looking at Her."
