Disney-ABC signs Israeli deal

Pact includes 'Amazing Race' remake

Disney-ABC Intl. execs unveiled another brace of deals Tuesday at Mip TV, continuing what has been a busy market for the Mouse House.

Disney inked with Israeli channel Reshet to license a local-language version of reality skein “The Amazing Race” for production this year across Asia. New show will see Israeli contestants racing across Asia.

Deal comes on the back of the English-language version of “The Amazing Race Asia” with AXN.

Disney also re-upped multi-year free-to-air agreements for live-action skeins and features with broadcaster SBS for the Benelux region. Deal includes “Dirty Sexy Money” and “Samantha Who?” as well as the latest installments of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “Narnia” franchises.
