BERLIN -- Telepool has hit the ground running at this year's Mip TV with a slew of sales completed ahead of the Cannes programming mart.
The Munich-based company sold high-budgeted event-productions "Arn -- The Knight Templar" and "The Charlemagne Code" to Canal Plus in France.
In Italy, free TV broadcaster La Sette picked up a package of RTL action series that include "The Law of Series," "3 Wild Angels," "Puma - Warrior With a Heart" and "Motorcycle Cops."
TV Catalunya in Spain took the RTL sitcom "Everybody Loves Jimmy" while fellow Spanish web ETB Basken nabbed "Medicopter 117 - Every Life Counts."
Slovenia's Slovenska Televizia purchased all 36 episodes of pubcaster ARD's hit series "Turkish for Beginners," which is in production on its third season, while Slovakian channel Joj TV bought RTL action skeins "The Clown," "Medicopter 117" and "The Vice Squad."
