SYDNEY -- Pubcaster ABC dominated the nominations for Aussie TV kudos the Logies.
Three ABC personalities -- chat show host Andrew Denton, quizshow host Adam Hills and comedian Chris Lilley ("The Nominees") will vie for Oz TV's top nod, the Gold Logie. The ABC is usually an also-ran during awards season but has been revitalized of late.
The only real surprise of the noms was that Nine's popular drama skein "Sea Patrol" missed out on a mention in the Australian drama category. Noms went to Seven's "City Homicide," "All Saints" and "Home and Away"; Ten's sudser "Neighbours"; and Nine's rural drama "McLeod's Daughters."
Winners will be announced May 4 at a live kudocast for the 50th edition of the Logies.
