Soccer doc picked up by Flower

Latin Co. nabs international rights to 'Boca'

BUENOS AIRES -- The Latin Flower Co. has signed to handle international sales of the first authorized documentary series about Boca Juniors, the most popular soccer club in Argentina.

Deal is with Bubby Prods., creator of "Boca, una historia de amor" (Boca, a History of Love).

Dalma Maradona, daughter of soccer idol and former Boca star Diego Maradona, will narrate the six-episode series about the passion for the Buenos Aires club as seen through the eyes of artists, coaches, players, supporters and neighbors.

Latin Flower officially launches at the Mip TV mart, which kicks off in Cannes on Monday.

It is fast building its catalog, adding "Boca" to dramas and telenovelas from Argentine producers Underground Contenidos, Pampa Films and RGB Entertainment as well as Uruguay's Teledoce and Colombia's Invento, a joint venture of FremantleMedia and Colombian production outfit Teleset.
