Roth rises to senior VP at CBS

Roth will work closely with and report to Jack Sussman, the Eye's exec VP of specials, music and live events. She had been VP of the department since 2003.
In her new role, Roth will develop and oversee production of all primetime specials and holiday shows. She'll also work with Sussman on the Eye's awards franchises, which also include the Tony Awards and the Academy of Country Music Assn. Awards.
Roth recently expanded her portfolio to quizzers, overseeing the Eye's series of "Price is Right" primetime specials. Eye recently greenlit a new batch of "Price" specials.
Before joining CBS in 2000, Roth spent three years at Nickelodeon. She's also done stints on "Maury Povich" and "Inside Edition."
