Producer Gavin Polone ("Curb Your Enthusiasm") can add a new title to his resume: Talent show judge.
Polone will join Debbie Reynolds and singer Brian McKnight ("Anytime") on the judging panel for the new CBS reality skein "Secret Talents of the Stars," which debuts Tuesday. Given his background as a former agent, it's likely he'll take on the Simon Cowell role on the show, which has celebs trying to master skills outside their comfort zones.
John O'Hurley ("Dancing with the Stars") has been tapped to host the show, which comes from producers Robyn Nash and Don Weiner.
Polone is no stranger to offering his opinions. During the recent WGA strike, his comments about the walkout to CNBC and on various blogs sparked some heated responses.
Judging talent competitions seems to run in the Reynolds family: Daughter Carrie Fisher was a judge on Fox's summer skein "On the Lot."
