Disney Latin America nabs 'Zoo Mix'

Animated series produced by Neptuno Films

Disney Channel Latin America has picked up Latin American cable TV rights to preschool animated series "Zoo Mix," produced and sold by Spanish toon house Neptuno Films.

The 104-episode, three-minute series helps young viewers learn about different animals.

It is directed by Neptuno co-founder Josep Viciana and exec produced by co-founder Cristina Brandner and Vicky Prenafeta.

Launched in 1991, Barcelona-based Neptuno is one of Europe's most prolific toon studios. Its library includes successful animated series "Connie the Cow" and "Dougie in Disguise."
