Seventy out of 190 rooms of the seaside hotel where Luchino Visconti shot "Death in Venice" are open to customers.
"By the time the Venice Film Festival begins, the Des Bains will be fully operational," a hotel spokeswoman told Daily Variety on Tuesday.
February's four-hour fire was caused by a defective electrical circuit.
