Duo to preside over 'Cinema Against AIDS'

MADONNA AND Sharon Stone will join forces to do a good deed in a naughty world. On May 22, at Le Moulin de Mougins restaurant on the Riviera, the two will preside over Harvey Weinstein's annual "Cinema Against AIDS" gala at Cannes, benefiting AmFAR. Bold Films, Chopard and the Weinstein Company are sponsoring and Seal will perform. ... Stone has been an advocate for AmFAR for 15 years. Her rowdy auctioneering and commitment has raised millions. Madonna! Sharon Stone! Harvey Weinstein! Together for the first time. The South of France may never again be the same ... The night before this charity happens, Madonna's documentary "I Am Because We Are" will be shown at the Cannes Film Festival. Madonna produced, Nathan Rissman directed. The film profiles children orphaned by AIDS in Malwai.
