DreamWorks set to make 'Friends'

Studio nabs spec script from Uliano, Schulz

The spec script market continues to show signs of life.

DreamWorks has made a preemptive six-figure acquisition of "Imaginary Friends," a fantasy adventure script by Cornelius Uliano and Bryan Schulz.

Studio was keeping logline under wraps. Scribes are first timers who met in film school. They graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography last year.
