LONDON — EMI Music Publishing U.K. has promoted Felix Howard from A&R manager to vice president of A&R.
Howard is a successful songwriter in his own right, writing tracks for artists including Sugababes, Amy Winehouse, Sia, Beverley Knight, Kylie Minogue and Freeform 5.
Since joining EMI Music Publishing two years ago, Howard’s signings have included Calvin Harris, Sam Sparro, Primary1, Natty, James McMorrow, Diane Birch, James Yuill and Wesley Felix.
EMI Music Publishing U.K. president Guy Moot said, “Felix is somebody who has been brought up in the music business and is a hit songwriter himself, and that gives him a unique perspective on the point of view of those people who make their living from all aspects of music, be it backroom or onstage.
