'30 Days' to return for third season

Lifetime, meanwhile, confirmed that the news isn't as good for its frosh drama "Side Order of Life": Show won't be back for a second season.
"30 Days" will air Tuesdays at 10 p.m. starting June 3. For the show's third season, creator/host Morgan Spurlock will work at a coal mine and live with a family in his home state of West Virginia. Other shows will feature former NFL player Ray Crockett spending 30 days in a wheelchair; and Spurlock living on a Native American reservation.
Spurlock, Ben Silverman, R.J. Cutler, Howard T. Owens and Jonathan Chinn exec produce "30 Days."
As for "Side Order of Life," show's underwhelming first-season numbers didn't warrant a second-season pickup. "Side Order," created and exec produced by Margaret Nagle did develop a loyal following, however.
Show starred Marisa Coughlan as a photographer reassessing her life; Jason Priestley, Diana-Maria Riva and Christopher Garlin also starred.
"Although we are not bringing 'Side Order of Life' back for another season, we are extremely proud of the show, particularly its sensitive exploration of the issue of living with cancer," Lifetime said in a statement. "We are grateful for the contributions of the talented team, both in front of and behind the camera."
