Paramount ups Lee Rosenthal
Exec VP to oversee daily production activities

The 14-year employee of the studio, who was upped to senior VP of feature production management in 2006, will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities including scheduling, budgeting and staffing, as well managing the studio's films through development and principal photography. In addition, he will continue to negotiate producer and major crew deals and liaise with filmmakers throughout shooting.
Mark Bakshi, prexy of feature production management, praised Rosenthal for being "a very hands-on executive whose knowledge and sense of responsibility greatly contributes to the continued success of Paramount."
Since joining the studio in 1994, Rosenthal has supervised such films as "Stardust," "Charlotte's Web" and "Mission: Impossible III."
Rosenthal is supervising physical production on "The Love Guru," "Star Trek," "Shutter Island" and "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."
