Lori Sale to leave ICM

Jesse Albert to take on larger role in branding

Lori Sale will leave her post as head of global branded entertainment at ICM.

The parting was a mutual decision made by Sale and topper Chris Silbermann, and the exit was amicable, sources said.

Sale was hired two years ago following a 17-year run with Harvey and Bob Weinstein, in which she served as liaison between corporate America and Miramax and, later, the Weinstein Co.

The agency recently brought in Jesse Albert, formerly from UTA, who most recently was involved in tie-ins for "American Idol." While Albert isn't replacing Sale, he is expected to take on a larger role as the branding department focuses more on initiatives in mobile and online media.

The global branded entertainment division, which has 10 employees in L.A. and New York, is designed to sell clients to brands, as opposed to some agencies that represent brands with the goal of connecting products to celebrities.
