Fox makes room for 'The Inn'

Comedy to star 'Reno 911' actress Niecy Nash

Fox has made a reservation with "The Inn," greenlighting the half-hour comedy pilot starring Niecy Nash ("Reno 911").

Multi-cam sitcom comes from 20th Century Fox TV, and takes a look at the help at a hip New York hotel.

Abraham Higginbotham ("Back to You") will write and exec produce the project. Also on board as EPs: Peter Principato, Paul Young, Brian Dobbins, and the folks from Reveille.

Reveille and Principato-Young are also producers.

"The Inn" was previously set up at Fox as a put pilot. Higginbotham, who has an overall deal at 20th, has also worked on skeins such as "Arrested Development."

Nash currently supplies a voice in the theatrical "Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who."
