Actor Thomas Jane was arrested in Kern County, CA this morning for driving under the influence of alcohol. 'The Punisher' thesp was travelling at "an extremely high rate of speed" on I-5 in his Mazerati and subsequently failed a number of breathalizer tests, according to the California Highway Patrol. The 39 year-old was also cited for driving on a suspended license.
Jane just finished directing the honeymoon thriller, 'The Dark Country,' and is also toplining the Pras Michel-produced 'The Mutant Chronicles' alongside thesp John Malkovich.
'The Mist' actor posted bail this morning and was charged with a DUI, operating a vehicle on a suspended license and driving with a blood alcohol level above the .08% legal limit. All of which are misdemeanor charges.
An arraignment is set for April 9th.
