MTV Networks Latin America has promoted Paula Guerra to senior veep and managing director of its Argentine operations as the unit ramps up production.
General manager since 2002, Guerra will oversee the division’s programming and production services in Buenos Aires and several service departments based there.
Guerra also will supervise and coordinate the creative strategies for MTV, VH1 and Nickelodeon in Latin America.
She will report to its prexy Pierluigi Gazzolo.
This year, the Viacom company will open a 33,370-square-foot and 150-employee studio in Buenos Aires in a drive to beef up sales and production in Latin America, bringing jobs to the country from its Miami headquarters.
