Newsie will also relaunch "Live With Dan Abrams" as "Verdict With Dan Abrams" starting next week.
Carlson will remain with MSNBC, even though his low-rated evening yakker "Tucker" has been axed, and will be featured on shows throughout the net's lineup, including "Race."
Gregory, who reports on the Peacock as well as MSNBC, has kept close tabs on the Bush campaign throughout his tenure at the net and will follow the current candidates through the election season. No post-election plans for the show were announced.
"Verdict," also a daily show, will follow the same track as "Live," emphasizing a legal perspective on the day's news.
MSNBC will re-air Keith Olbermann's "Countdown" at 10 p.m. Andrea Mitchell will now anchor MSNBC on weekday afternoons at 1.
